Narelle Carter-Quinlan, Founder and Director of Embodied Terrain, specializes in helping people with scoliosis, (spinal asymmetry), and back pain through the practices of yoga and embodied anatomy. Her luminous photographic images of the body-land ignite our physicality as felt known place; we are part of the greater ecology. Deep healing unfolds.
Narelle has breathed yoga and dance over five decades of practice. Movement is her native language. An academically trained anatomist and formally trained in the Iyengar method of Yoga, Narelle is originally a dancer, choreographer, artistic director and performer. Renowned for her resonant imagery and evocative language, her students are guided with precision, clarity, grace and intelligence, eliciting profound change in their spinal landscape.
Underlying and supporting all aspects of her work, is the nexus of Transformation. Right on the alive leading edge of choice and creation, Transformation is a distinct, potent spiritual service. It works directly with what you really want. Yes, that!
Narelle currently serves yoga students, Teachers and Practitioners through online offerings (ecourses, ebooks, Audio Meditations) and live events (workshops, Teacher Trainings, retreats). She travels and shares her wisdom and life’s work from her native Australia across Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States and New Zealand.
