Elizabeth Crowell is a successful entrepreneur and angel investor whose passion is helping entrepreneurs start and grow their ventures.
Co-owner (with her husband) of Sterling Place, a multichannel retail company that sells eclectic antiques, fine home decor and specialty gifts, Elizabeth learned first-hand how to boot-strap, pivot, and grow an organization. She was selected as one of 10 in the inaugural class of Pipeline Fellows, a program designed to train female investors to invest in women-led ventures and continues to support women entrepreneurs in her new role as CEO of Bpeace.
Elizabeth became CEO of Bpeace in 2015, leveraging her 20 years of experience building businesses, organizations and boards to lead this inspiring nonprofit network of business volunteers.
Elizabeth and her colleagues at Bpeace work with entrepreneurs in conflict-affected communities to scale their businesses, create significant employment and expand the economic power of women. By supporting a carefully vetted group of entrepreneurs, Bpeace helps create more jobs, increasing community stability and reducing the poverty and desperation that often seed violence.
If you’d like to become involved with Bpeace, there are many levels of engagement. From becoming a pro-bono consultant for virtual and/or in-country assignments, to joining as a thought leader, traveling mentor, connector or event planner, Bpeace welcomes your support and participation.
