Time to Tune-up Your Brand Story
It’s likely that you’ve done plenty of re-thinking and re-evaluation of your business this year. And you've probably tweaked or updated some of the products and services you offer to meet these changing times.
Now that Spring is here again, it’s time to tune-up your brand story, letting the world know exactly what you offer, what makes your company unique, and the value you provide for customers.
Here are a few things to think about and questions to ask yourself as you do your Tune-up:
• What is the key reason your company exists?
What does your company do and why do you do it? What’s your purpose and what do you stand for? What is the one big idea that sets you apart from the competition?
What's kept you going over the past year?
• What will keep your clients and customers coming back day after day and week after week?
Who are your ideal customers right now? Think about the products and services you sell and how your customers and clients interact with your brand. What do they need/want most, and what will keep them coming back for more? What value do you bring that is different from other businesses like yours? Be very specific.
• Is your messaging clearly crafted and unified across all outlets?
Make sure your brand story conveys a clear, compelling, and straightforward message about what you offer and how that will benefit your customers. Keep your messaging consistent across all platforms, including your website, social media, Marketplace Listings, and newsletters.
Take some time to really think through these questions. You may have to toss out some old ideas. Don’t stress out if you find it hard to answer some of these questions on your own.
